Conditions
In order to remain a member of Stevenage SAC the following conditions must be followed:
- Jewellery of any kind must not be worn (with the exception of freshly pierced ears which must be covered with plasters.)
- You must follow the club dress code:
- Tracksuits or sport attire for warm up only.
- Leotards only or with mini shorts for training.
- No competition leotards to be worn for training. They are supposed to look perfect for competitions (there are already gymnasts whose leotards have faded). If the coach thinks that the leotard is not good enough the gymnast will not be able to compete.
- Hair tied back neatly
- You must respect ALL of your coaches, they are here to help you and have volunteered their time. It is NOT acceptable to come in expecting to do what you want, when you want. All sessions are planned and the plan must be followed.
- You must help with the setting up and putting away of ALL equipment including CD’s grade sheets etc.
- You must attend regularly as you are letting your partners down if you don’t. Failure to attend regularly will result in your partner being taken from you and you will be relegated to a lower squad.
- If you know you are going to be absent from a session please tell a coach so they can mark it on the register; if it is short notice then please text either:
Lisa : 07968 442179 Monday sessions - Laura: 07919 576290 Thursday sessions - Gemma: 07909 745247
- Once entered for competition you must attend all of your practice sessions otherwise you may be withdrawn and asked to pay the entry fee for yourself and your partners.
- You must arrive on time for your sessions, this is being monitored. If you are going to be late – a text message is appreciated along with an apology on arrival at the gym. This is common courtesy!
Membership and Session Fees
At the A.G.M. in Oct 2007, it was agreed that the gymnasts’ fees should be radically simplified. The reason for the change was the need for a clear, simple fee structure, the ability to make automated payments with a fixed due date and the need to continue to keep fees low by reducing overall overheads.
Session Fees
Session fees will now** be charged at £15 per month per session per gymnast . This will be payable by standing order on 1st each month and includes competition fees, Marriott’s training sessions and any awards/badges gained.
Membership & Insurance
ALL gymnasts training with the club MUST be insured through British Gymnastics. The insurance year runs from October - September. The charges vary depending on whether the gymnast concerned is Competitive or Non-Competitive.
The insurance will be invoiced in September and is included in the club yearly membership fee.
